D. Michael Mitchell (President) started the company in 1982 that has grown into ESA, Inc. Through Mike’s direction, ESA, Inc. has become a leader in the industry, still providing unique and innovative solutions after more than 25 years. His forward thinking and determined attitude built ESA
into one of the most highly regarded companies in the industry, turning a small family business into a well developed and truly integrated Environmental Services and Demolition firm.
Making strategic acquisitions and expanding business operations in key areas brought ESA to new levels of safety, breadth and expertise. Mike has tirelessly worked to develop ESA’s reach to a national level, increasing its capacity to service clients of all sizes and needs. As the President of ESA, Inc. Mike oversees all aspects of business and operations. He is involved in estimating, project management, environmental compliance and safety. From his humble beginnings as owner of a drywall and insulation company and through 25 years as owner of ESA, he has accumulated a vast knowledgebase covering both the environmental and demolition industries.
You will more often find Mike at job sites with his hallmark determined attitude than behind his desk. This hands-on approach to getting the job done demonstrates the level of professionalism and dedication that extends to every level of the organization guided by his leadership.
