Abatement Services

ESA, Inc. was founded in 1982 as an asbestos abatement firm. Today, with over 5,500 projects under our belt, ESA has grown into a full-service environmental and demolition firm. While we have bolstered our offerings with other environmental services, and an ability to perform demolition, we are still fundamentally an abatement contractor. Our clients prefer our ability to deliver timely solutions while always remaining cost-effective. We are also able to deliver results in most states across the U.S. while still delivering the personal service ESA is known for.

Walsh Environmental provided all of the project oversight. ESA worked closely with RE Monks Construction, who handled all of the project management, site work, trucking and parking lot construction. ESA lined, loaded, wrapped and handled all of the asbestos contaminated soil, in addition to select site demolition. ESA’s well-trained crew of Hazwoper & Asbestos certified employees were able to maintain an aggressive schedule despite tough winter conditions and difficult access to the site.

This project showcased ESA's capacity to safely excavate, remove and transport nearly 40,000 cubic yards of asbestos contaminated soil in less than six weeks, while working in the heart of downtown Denver.   Working with Haselden construction and JACOBS, ESA designed a plan to quickly and safely remove contaminated soils, as well as a buried tank and other hazardous materials.  Since the remediation was not part of the original construction schedule, ESA designed a plan that would minimize construction delays.  Despite downtown traffic, ESA was able to finish the job in a matter of weeks.
